FINALLY.....We got our tree!

What and ordeal this day turned out to be, but.....we got our tree.  The story is too long to tell, let's just sufice it to say.....we hit all the holiday traffic going home from their Thanksgiving Holiday.  So, spent way too much time on the highway.  Lesson learned!
Mr. Carpenter is outside building a platform so our little village will have a place to be erected under the tree.   If it's not one thing, it's another.  Isn't that the way?
With Champagne is hand... I toast all of you who have spent the day trying to get your Christmas tree up and shinning brightly.                                       XOSO SANDY

  1. Hiya Sandy,

Is it a real tree, and if so, is it a "live" tree (one you plant afterwards)? If it's a real cut tree.........how in the heck do you keep it green and not dried out for so long???? Some years we buy a "live" tree and plant it out in the backyard afterwards. If we get a "cut" tree we don't get it until a week or two before Christmas. I am however, looking for a fake tree to use in the coming years. As I get older, the loose needles, sap and heaviness of a real tree tend to get harder to manage. Best of luck to you.

    Always,
    Meri
