Camping in the rain

It's vacation time for us...come rain or come shine.
We packed up our new RV "Wheel Estate" and headed down the road.

Camping next to the Pacific ocean near Half Moon Bay, while the rain is coming down..... feels FANTASTIC!  Doesn't look much like rain in the pictures...but, it's gusting now. Think we'll blow away?

As we wandered the stores on our afternoon outing, just couldn't pass up a little Christmas tree at 40% off in a darling boutique...so, the trailer is all a glow... reminding us it's still CHRISTMAS!

My wee glass of wine in hand, Mr. RVer's got the Eagles on TV, Piper nestled close to me, the sound of rain from above..... it doesn't get much cozier than this. Unless the lights go out.  Hummmmmm

Most camp in the summer, not
        us....
        winter will do just fine.

WHEW..........................

We made it through another Christmas! It was hectic, but oh so fun. There was endless chaos all day from early morning till evening when all the cars departed for their  homes...and, we waved Good-bye.
Everyone got "just what they wanted"...such happy little faces...makes my heart sing.
Mr. Chef out did himself as usual with a dinner to die for...Beef Wellington and all the fixin's....we all pigged out...surprise, surprise!
All in all the day was a huge success..it was so worth all the extra work that everyone put forth with "love".
We are blessed with a wonderful family, I feel so lucky!
I was suppose to get a family photo shoot, but.....forgot.  So, here is a picture of four generations...Mom, Me, daughter Stacey and Grandaughter Arianna...it looks like they are getting taller...NOT, it's only the new boots!
The sunrise couldn't have been more picture perfect...we lucked out, didn't we?
I hope you and your families had the best day ever.  Now, you can sit down and rest, that's what I'm doing.

                     Love to you all!

CHEERS!

Welcome to our home for Christmas..... CHEERS!

Wandering  around outside with camera in hand, I thought I'd share our yard decor with you.

The horse and carriage....the dear deers.... the Momma duck and her ducklings are all just so perfectly placed by Mr. Outside Decor Man!

Nut crackers that he couldn't pass up buying a few years back.  And, the new red and white lights swagging the entry...the man has a light obsession.

I want you to know he made the garland around the door himself, from branches off the pine tree in the yard............. I've taught him well!   Don't ya think?

It looks like Christmas at our house.......  Thanks for stopping by!

Please come again you are always welcome!

My mind is feeling more at ease...the hospital stay is over, he's feeling 100% better, the puppy has gone home and everyone is safe and sound.
Tomorrow is a Birthday shopping day for our daughter...we're a little late, her birthday was Nov 27, but this is the first day (for both our schedules) that we are able to go out and about.... I see lunch and shopping.   Gonna be fun, looking forward to going.
I might even get some Christmas shopping done, I'm really behind, really behind.
All in all we are both looking forward to just being together and enjoying the time together.

Reporting: GOOD NEWS!

                                THE CONVERSION WAS A SUCCESS!

What you worry yourself sick over for days, they fix in minutes.  Said it was and easy convert...in and out.  Keeping him another night to watch and try to reduce more fluids.

We are all happy campers...thanks for your prayers.

Well.....here I sit!

Can't seem to get my *mo-jo* going.
We are still babysitting Lacy the Puppy for Brother...you see, he's still in the hospital.
Procedure was cancelled yesterday, apparently they didn't like his kidney numbers, whatever that means??????   He's scheduled for 11:00 am today...that's in a few minutes...whew.
I wish I could get going on something productive, but I think my mind is to overwhelmed with Brother and his heart condition....can't seem to think of anything else.
I sure will be glad when he's all better and life will get back to normal for all of us.
Please keep wonderful thoughts for him.....  he can use them now.
Everyone have a wonderful day....love to you all!!!!

I've got a sick brother

Yesterday he finally decided to admit himself into the hospital.  He's has heart problems and they can't seem to get his meds on and even keel.  You see, he needs his heart shocked back into normal beating....without the right medication, his heart will have a much harder time staying in the new beating pattern.  It's going a mile a minute...not good.  We must slow it down!  So for the next couple days they will administer and monitor all the new medication, getting him ready for the "shock".

We are babysitting his Rat Terrier "Lacy"....she's two and a bundle of energy...whew!  I'd forgotten what a toddler puppy acts like..she runs around the house like a runaway train, but her sweet little personality makes up for racing.
I know she misses her Ken and would like to ask you to please pray for a speedy and healthy recovery...so they can go home.

Learned something new!

They say try to learn something new everyday.....well, I did today.  Learned how to make my pictures bigger AND have them run into other areas.  Dummy me.... live and learn.  Won't make them that big next time...or, better idea will figure out how to move them.

It takes a village

Yesterday was spent making and decorating the two new little houses under the tree.  I had made the first one weeks ago and shared, that's before the tree arrived.  Of course I shuffle the decorations the entire time leading up to Christmas....then take them down.  I'm never completely finished decorating, how could I be...it must be "moved" just one more time.

Glitter and glue every where, but........boy did I have fun.  This year I decided instead of putting out my village of years gone by, I would attempt to make one that was all *sparkle* ...I think I managed to do just that.

Mr. Conductor Man built the platform for the train to scoot around on...which by the way, makes the dog go crazy.  She runs back and forth as the train circles, almost getting her nose hit by the end car...doesn't stop her, she barks like it's her job to save us from this new moving object that's come to get us.  Guess it is HER job........Too Funny!!

Under the Christmas Tree.............

Mr. Conductor got the train up and running.............

A long day of decorating

Thought I'd share a few more pictures of a long day of decorating.  I probably have one more day of decorating to go...then I think I'll be done. The village under the tree.... that's a days work there.  Whew.....

Tomorrow there is a craft faire that I'm so looking forward to attending...OMG wonder what I'll find to incorporate.    Like I need more Christmas decorations....but, don't we all?  We can never have enough...that's a given.     xoso Sandy
