How was YOUR weekend?
Did you have fun? Were you productive? Were you quiet?
Were you busy? Did you enjoy friends? Did you smell the roses? I hope what ever you did you did it with gusto!
Well, we had a fantastic time....headed up the Coast Highway to Half Moon Bay for dinner and sleep-over with our good friends.
The food couldn't have been more delicious...Oso Buco..all the fixings and a too die for chocolate dessert...My mouth is watering just thinking about it now...wish I had some. Yummy.
Our other couple brought breakfast...fresh blackberries with cream, a sausage and veggie puff pastry, with a lemon chess pie... cheeses, crackers, coffee...OMgosh it was delish!
We supplied the libations....wine...wine...and more wine!
Snuggled around the fireplace we started planning our European vacation..... all voted the South of France in 2012... can't WAIT.
For this year it was decided that Yellowstone might be our little get-a-way! Still have some research to do on that.
Feeling blessed to have such wonderful friends to share our lives~~~~~~

ReplyDeleteIt sounded like you had a great weekend! And planning to go to Europe, WOW! Have you been to Yellowstone before? We took our kids there several years ago, and it was wonderful. So much to see. We had our camper, but I made reservations at a lodge because I was too afraid of the bears! As it turned out, they had to close a campground because of all the bears.
But you should be fine in an RV, we just had a pop-up. Now I hope I didn't scare you!

Now that's a weekend I could love Sandy. You had so much fun and 2 vacations planned. AAAhhh, it sounds like heaven. I've never been to either. I did spend a little time outdoors in the yard which was a nice change of pace.
