Been away awhile

But.... I'm back!
Seems like it's been forever, guess it has.

Lot's been goin' on..... Christmas is right around the corner...omgoodness, I'm not even close to being ready.

This morning I've spent blog-hunting...joining lots of new blogs that peaked my interest...So exciting! Happy to meet lots of new friends and re-acquaint with my oldies.

I've missed so much since I've been away.... I'll just hang in and hope I can "catch up".

Now it's time to get in gear and decorate!

Just stopping in to say "HI"

It's been awhile since I've said HELLO to everyone...

So busy around here!

Mr. Wonderful added on to my Little House. so I have a much bigger crafting area.... OMG I can't believe how fantastic it is.

Another 12 feet!

I've been out there just putting and placing and cleaning and working working working.... I think I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Whew......

It's such a lovely place to work/play....makes me so happy.

I'll be showing pics shortly...hope you'll keep looking.

I just can't believe the verdict!
OMG..... NOT GUILTY.... it just doesn't seem right.

I was so upset I wrote guilty.... I've since changed my post to NOT Guilty.

Rusty...Crusty...coffee table... I created it today... Mmmmm

I've turned the corner... I'm loving old rusty crusty iron things...WHO KNEW? The more I see them, the more I love them...I've joined the group of RUSTY CRUSTY!

Today I recreated my old coffee table into a new one....Or I should say "I made my NEW table into something "OLD" and wonderful.

Have a look!

The most fun was decorating the top.....you know how we all love to decorate! Mmmmmmm

I took three of my cloches decking them out with new visuals.... it's all making my heart sing!

This is the smallest cloche, I covered the little peet pot with vintage music paper....too cute! Can you tell I'm loving the look?

I rolled up some pages from a novel and stuffed them in the largest cloche...that took some time.

It's sitting on top of and old tire iron....note: Rusty Crusty!

This last cloche has silk plants (yes, I'm a fan of silk when they look real) in a silver gravy boat. Charming, I think!

A bird nest and silver box complete the look..... Happy Happy!

The top of the table is some kind of old wire thingy that was sitting out behind my little house... Imagine it fit perfectly on top of the iron table legs.

I removed the wooden top... which is lovely in it's own right, but..... it didn't have the rusty crusty look. Then put the two pieces together and VOILA this is how it looks now.

I'm lovin' it!

I can't believe it all came together so easy...guess it was meant to be!

FLOWERS and Vignettes on the deck...COME SEE

Seems like it's been forever since I've sat down to blog!

I do read the blogs everyday though! I'm still here!

Yesterday I decided to do a little rearranging on the deck...spending most of the day just "putting and placing" things.

Trimmed the sad little flowers that I've so neglected (and that the weather has damaged)...gave them food and love, hoping they will be happy once again!

My daughter said I should write some little sayings on the black pillows for a new look......well, they flew in this house so fast, I added my handy work to them and this is what turned out like.

A bit of silliness... that makes me smile.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood....hope you are having a lovely day too!!!
